During the session they will look at:
- the role of an investigating officer
- how to undertake a fair investigation
- identifying and gathering relevant evidence
- taking witness statements (including from reluctant witnesses)
- dealing with tricky areas such as anonymity and parallel investigations
- how to structure an investigation report
